A surface pilot who was in Yuuya’s unit in their U.S. Army days, as part of the 414th "Ghosts" test squad on Edwards Air Force Base in Groom Lake, Nevada. Presently part of the 65th Combat Training Battalion “Infinities”. Often seen in sunglasses.

He’s proud to be a Japanese-American, which meant he's constantly at odds with Yuuya who detests his Japanese heritage. The two of them used to fight constantly. While he's a talented Surface Pilot, Yuuya's numbers exceeded him in every area, and they became rivals, even turning into mutual hate later.

Leon is born into a military family, with his grandfather having volunteered for the U.S. Army's Japanese American Legion which was formed during World War II. Leon's father was Admiral Kuze, who commanded the U.S. Navy's Pacific Fleet, which defended Japan under the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty when the BETA landed in Japan. The fleet not only fought against the also helped to transport Japanese evacuees, and even after the annulment of the Security Treaty, Admiral Kuze's name is held in high esteem in Japan. Born into such a family, Leon isn't not ashamed of his Japanese-American heritage at all.
