Suginami is Jun'ichi and Nemu's classmate and often gives Jun'ichi advice about relationships with girls. Although he is an excellent athlete, a top student, and good-looking, his oddly disturbing personality causes most people to keep their distance from him. He enjoys teasing Mako and dragging Jun'ichi into various situations. His descendant in Da Capo II, 50 years later, looks and acts exactly like the "old" Suginami.
