He prefers using brains, not strength and likes to bet with opponents using different tricks which Christiane does not admire, since he will try anything to win. He is also the tactician of the "Kazama family". People say his father "abandoned" Japan and left everyone they cared for, but Yamato doesn't believe it. He's also very perverted and said he loves seeing naked girls. His main weapon is a lightsaber.
