Baduck is a character from Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai and its animated adaptations. Baduck appears to be living in a hut near Papnica and used to be the chief soldier. He finds Dai and Popp collapsed in the mountains after their fight against Hyunckel. He watches over the duo as they train to learn Zapple and ranarion. Baduck gives Dai his chainmail to protect himself against Hyunckel's attack, and offers to go to the battle with them, but Popp says it would be better for him to wait outside.
