Fastidious and pure of heart, she is loved by everyone in the kendo club. She's skilled at kendo because her father and grandfather trained her in the art from an early age. She excels in both sports and studying, but while many think she's good at everything, she's often clueless when it comes to pop culture, romance, and understanding social situations because she was raised in a strict household and wasn't allowed to watch TV. She completely misunderstood Masafumi Kase's affection for her as that of an underclassman feeling admiration for his senior, which made her best friend and vice-captain Ayaka Komori completely exasperated.
Believing that "anyone who is teaching you should be honored, regardless of age or status," she treats underclassman Hajime Tanaka with a great deal of respect. Her straightforward personality along with her belief in not judging people based on their looks or attitude ended up working against her in this case. She participates in Hajime's "Pregnancy Trial Counseling" with full sincerity.
