Yuya Karasumori is a side character from Cardfight!! Vanguard G. He is the successor of the Karasumori family and Shion Kiba's rival in fencing. He is a prideful person and always looks down on other people. Since he sees Shion as someone who is on an equal level with him, he feels that Shion should not mingle with commoners. He views Shion as his best friend although he doesn't act like one. Likewise, Shion cares about Yuya as a friend despite acknowledging his antagonistic nature.
