Henry VI is the head of the House of Lancaster. A devout Christian who hates war and killing. He yearns to be a shepherd and meets Richard III in the forest, and they are drawn to each other without knowing each other's true identities. Henry VI is married to Margaret, and he is the father of Edward of Lancaster. Henry is most well-known as a cowardly man. However, this cowardice is mistaken as he hates war and therefore will not lead his armies, which leads his wife, Margaret, to do so for him.
He is also shown to be relatively weak in strength, and he often runs away from the castle in disguise as a shepherd.
