Cherry often gets nervous and blushes, therefore making it almost impossible for him to speak to others. He's often seen wearing headphones, so that people won't talk to him; this is also to tune-out the sound around him, as he dislikes loud sounds, finding it difficult to cope with them. He expresses himself through Haiku, as talking to other people is hard for him.
