Born and raised as a miko, Karin is an extremely clumsy, skittish girl who decided to become an idol to help her family's shrine. Due to this many of her idol costumes incorporate something Shinto related. Due to her clumsiness and not being very coordinated, Karin constantly trips and runs into things. She claims to have tripped on everything around the shine at least once. Despite feeling embarrassed to her clumsiness, Karin sees idol work as a means to "Exorcise The God of Clumsiness" that's possessing her. Shown many times, Karin always tends to call upon the help of gods to guide her successfully through her work. She also has trouble with her speech, and stutters when she gets flustered. Mizuki Kawashima is helping her better her articulation skills.
