Serika is described to be curious, cheerful and often clueless at times towards her surroundings although at times she can be. She cares a lot about her friends, especially her friends at the Newspaper Club, and gets annoyed when Takuru and the members quarrel with each other. She carries around her phone with a rare Gero Froggy Strap which Takuru gave it to her as a present when they were kids, and often fiddling the strap, making a small annoying squeaky sound whenever being squished, due to its age.
