Synopsis

This is a pilot for The Star of Cottonland (Wata no Kuni Hoshi) which was later made into a feature film in 1984 by Mushi Production. Both are based off a manga created by Yumiko Oshima from the 1970s. (Source: Bowl of Lentils)
